Proddy Rug Making Sunday 8th March 10 - 4 pm

This has always been on our 'to do list ' so we are making it happen!

We have the hugely talented Diane coming to give us some expert guidance and tuition, sharing the skills she has nutured of how to make a traditional proddy rug. Diane will also supply a range of the dreamy Abraham Moon fabrics for your use.

This is a full day with Diane, in a small friendly group, so that she can give you the individual attention to assist your rug making journey.

This day will unfold as follows:

Arrival:
Thornton Le Beans village hall for 10am, and coffee.
Enjoy a relaxing, mindful morning learning how start constructing your rug. In a calm, relaxed setting Diane will share her passion, knowledge, and skills.
Elevenses with cake will be provided during the morning. 

Lunch:
Please bring your own choice of lunch - wash it down with a drink of your choice, provided. For a group booking, prosecco can be added for a small additional charge. 

Afternoon: 
Refreshed and fed, Diane will show you how to grow your rug and incorporate your own style.
Everything you need will be provided.

At the end of the day, you will have had an abundance of inspiration, support and creativity, and will have experienced a real feel and flavour for learning this traditional skill.
