OCTOBER WORKSHOP
Well on Sunday gone, I was excited and nervous in equal measure π
We ran our first ever Artisan Workshop Taster Day, which had been fully booked. No pressure then π
Well heck! With the up beat, talented professional and fabulous Julia and Jenny at the helm, and the gorgeous bunch who came to enjoy expert tuition and a mindful creative day, it really couldn't have gone any better! With wood fired pizΕΊa for lunch by the awesome Mark, and a sit in the sunshine, if I say so myself, we delivered a great day π
The venue was filled with the quiet hum of chatter and laughter, concentration and delight as skills were mastered.
Can't deny I was very chuffed with the amazing feedback too.
Thank you so much to everyone who came and made it such an excellent day.
We are doing it all over again on Sunday 9th November and there are still a few places left.

We are busy with our calendar and chatting to lots of Artisan makers.
We are securing dates for next year which will include enameling, proddy rug making, woodland workshop and basket making. Still in the planning stages, but will be confirmed soon, as will the dates for next years fairs.

TASTER DAYS BOOKINGS
We have been really thrilled with the positive response to our first Taster Day, experimenting with Gouach painting, and making a floral plaster plaque. Most tickets have been sold now with only a couple remaining - our the next date will be released for sale soon.
We are gradually adding to our events, with some beautifully informal Christmas Wreath Making afternoons being released very soon.

We are thrilled to have our new look record shop, vintage shop and Juke Box and Hi-Fi showrooms all up and running again following our major refurbishment.
We welcome you to call in for a browse, a chat, and for the Juke Boxes and Hi - Fi, a demonstration.
Our new look vintage showroom is a well laid out mix of items - from a top of the range vintage mandolin, to antique pine furniture. Don't just take our word for it - come for a look.
1940's DAY IN NORTHALLERTON
Alongside this popular event in town, we held another of our popular Artisan and Vintage Fairs. With a carefully curated mix of stalls with passionate and professional traders, and many folk dressed up, it was a great day. Julia, a very talented local artist was live painting during the day which was a real attraction.
We work hard to put on well organised and professional events which support a growing number of local small businesses.

BETTERDAZE TURNS 30!
Yes! From the first Juke Box rentals and a few boxes of records, to a fabulous large independant and completely unique shop, Betterdaze is a growing, thriving and always moving forward. With Gary's encyclopedic music knowledge, passion and never waning enthusiasm, we have a fantastic team who have each other's backs. 3 shops run happily side by side and a lot of fun had along the way. Join us on the weekend of the 11th- 13th July to help us celebrate.
