Upholstery day - having a one to one session with our professional tutor giving giving your furniture a new life.

Discover the art of upholstery in this hands-on, one day session designed for either complete beginners, or those with some experiencebut lookingfor a little guidance. Book for either just one place, or share it with a friend. You will learn the essential skills needed to transform tired or outdated furniture into beautiful, functional pieces. You’ll be guided step by step, at your own pace, through the fundamentals, including fabric selection, safe use of upholstery tools, stripping and preparing furniture, replacing webbing, foam, and calico, and applying professional finishing techniques.

Suitable for: Complete beginners with no prior experience required or those with some experience.
What you’ll learn:

* Upholstery tools and materials
* Removing old fabric and preparing frames
* Replacing padding, calico and webbing.
* Measuring and cutting fabric
* Stapling and finishing techniques
* Tips for achieving a professional look

By the end of the the day, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to start restoring and reupholstering furniture with pride.
