Proddy Rug Making Course

Following the success of our 1 day taster day, we are now offering a 6 week course to design, make and finish your own rug.

We have the hugely talented Diane coming to give us some expert guidance and tuition, sharing the skills she has nutured, of how to make a traditional proddy rug. Diane will also supply a range of the dreamy Abraham Moon fabrics for your use.

This is a 6 week couse held on a Sunday, 10 - 3pm with Diane, in a small friendly group, so that she can give you the individual attention to assist your rug making journey.

It will run for 6 consecutive Sundays - 6th September, 13th September, 20th September, 27th September, 4th October and 11th October. If you would like to attend but can't make all the dates, please contact us to discuss the options.

Over the 6 weeks, in a relaxed and calm setting, you will learn how to set up your frame, the techniques, and gain the knowledge and skills to complete your bespoke rug.

All materials will be provided, as well as drinks and snacks. All you need to bring is your lunch.

At the end of the course, you will have had an abundance of inspiration, support and creativity, and will have experienced a real feel and flavour for learning this traditional skill.
