Basket Making Sunday 1st November 10 - 4 pm

Due to popular demand, we have arranged a new date for this incredibly popular workshop.

We have the hugely talented Jane returning to give us some expert guidance and tuition, sharing the skills she has of how to make a simple yet stunning basket. Jane is also a local willow grower, so you will be using locally grown willow from her nearby farm.

This is a full day with Jane, in a small friendly group, so that she can give you the individual attention to assist your basket making journey.

This day will unfold as follows:

Arrival:
Thornton Le Beans village hall for 10am, and coffee.
Enjoy a relaxing, mindful morning learning how start constructing your basket. In a calm, relaxed setting Jane will share her passion, knowledge, and skills.
Elevenses with cake will be provided during the morning. 

Lunch:
Please bring your own. Drinks provided. For a group booking, prosecco can be added for a small additional charge. 

Afternoon: 
Refreshed and fed, Jane will show you how to form and shape your basket.
Everything you need will be provided.

At the end of the day, you will have had an abundance of inspiration, support and creativity, and will have experienced a real feel and flavour for willow to make a beautiful, individual basket.

This workshop is held in Thornton Le Beans Village Hall, which is a small village situated 3 miles from Northallerton. Access is easy and flat.
