This has always been on our 'to do list ' so we are making it happen!

We have the hugely talented Heather coming to give us some expert guidance and tuition, sharing the skills she has of this heritage craft.

This is a full day with Heather, in a small friendly group, so that she can give you the individual attention to assist your enameling journey.

This day will unfold as follows:

Arrival:
Thornton Le Beans village hall for 10am, and coffee.
Enjoy a relaxing, mindful morning creating a 3x3 inch steel panel. Have fun painting it - no need to be able to draw - you can use a stencil. Enameling is glass, fired onto metal in a kiln - come and create some magic with glass, metal and fire in a calm, relaxed setting, where Heather will share her passion, knowledge, and skills. Your panel will be perfect as a picture, coaster, or card.
Elevenses with cake will be provided during the morning. 

Lunch:
Bring you own lunch and wash it down with a drink of your choice (provided). For a group booking, prosecco can be added for a small additional charge. 

Afternoon: 
Refreshed and fed, Heather will guide you through a second project - either another unique panel - perfect as a coaster, or making a pendant.
Everything you need will be provided.

At the end of the day, you will have had an abundance of inspiration, support and creativity, and will have experienced a real feel and flavour for creating magic with glass, metal and fire.

WARNING- Enameling is addictive!

Please bring an apron, wear full shoes of boots, and tie back long hair.
