Upholstery Course 6 weeks from Wednesday 2nd September

Beginner’s Upholstery Course - giving furniture a new life.

Discover the art of upholstery in this hands-on course designed for complete beginners. In a small friendly group you will learn the essential skills needed to transform tired or outdated furniture into beautiful, functional pieces. You’ll be guided step by step, at your own pace, through the fundamentals, including fabric selection, safe use of upholstery tools, stripping and preparing furniture, replacing webbing, foam, and calico, and applying professional finishing techniques.

Working on a small project, you’ll gain practical experience and the confidence to tackle future upholstery projects at home. Whether you want to restore a cherished chair, explore a new hobby, or develop skills for a creative side business, this course provides a friendly and supportive introduction to traditional and modern upholstery methods.

Suitable for: Complete beginners with no prior experience required.
What you’ll learn:

This is a 6 week course wirh a maximum of 6 students. It will run on consecutive Wednesdays from 10 - 2 pm.
Held in our bespoke studio on Zetland Street in Northallerton DL6 1NA.
Access is easy and flat.
